Application Performance Appliance

The Application Performance Appliance integrates with Visual Performance Manager and is a high-speed purpose built appliance that monitors end-user experience and correlates that experience with network, system, and device data to build a complete picture of end-to-end performance across enterprise, cloud, and carrier networks.

Key Capabilities

• Zero clicks to isolate an issue and to understand who owns any specific performance events such as the Network, Server, or Application teams
• Automated N-Tier transaction correlation for immediate isolation of the offending application tier at fault such as Web, App, or Database
• Three clicks to root cause isolation, down to individual client/server transaction levels including isolation to the individual Get, Post, Call, or Query at the root of the performance issue

The Application Performance Appliance is deployed in the data center, and connected via SPAN/Mirror/TAP to passively acquire a stream of production TCP packets.  It then analyzes and stores this data for presentation in Visual Performance Manager.

Visual Performance Manager provides a wealth of reporting options designed for the needs of  various system users from the help desk to the line of business owner.

The system allows users to obtain, "on the fly" digital reports, dozens of “off the shelf” templates, or, users can utilize a highly flexible report creation wizard. Integration with excel and third party ITSM systems, provides even more reporting breadth. If you need to see it, we can report on it!
